Upon entering the office, new patients will be asked to complete standard paperwork describing general information about yourself and your condition(s)/goal(s).  The paperwork takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.  We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to complete all paperwork.  You can also choose to download these forms which are found above on this page.  Simply complete them at home and bring them to your initial visit in order to save time in the office.  The chiropractor will be looking forward to meeting you!

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. Zdilla to discuss your health-related problems and concern(s)/goal(s), as well as potential treatment options.

In order to determine your actual problem, Dr. Zdilla will ask you various questions related to your condition.  Next, the doctor will perform a number of specialized tests to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Lipo-Light clients should expect questions dealing with nutrition, lifestyle, goals expected, current/past health conditions, and stress management issues.  Before and after photographs of only the treated areas will be taken.  Measurements will be taken and your B.M.I. will be determined.  Weight will be taken before each treatment.  

Your specific condition may require further diagnostic studies, such as  x-rays, in order to rule out more serious conditions and assist in developing the most effective treatment plan.  X-rays are not done in the office.  If an x-ray is needed, a script will be given to the  patient.  

Prior to leaving, you will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home.  This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.  Lipo-Light clients will be required to continue home exercises and healthy eating and complete a brief food and exercise journal. 

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up  visit.  Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days after the initial visit.  At the follow up appointment, Dr. Zdilla will assess your initial treatment and home care response, perform any necessary procedures, and discuss future treatment options.

It is recommended that Lipo-Light clients schedule their complete treatment schedule on their first visit.
