The Doctor
Dr. Zdilla graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science. Upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Zdilla continued to further his education at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
While at NYCC, Dr. Zdilla received awards for both distinguished service and academic achievements. In particular, he was honored with the NYCC “Health Center Award” in recognition of excellent performance in the areas of diagnosis, patient care, and adjunctive procedures. He graduated in 2003 from NYCC with educational knowledge and practical experience that allowed him to accelerate his personal and professional success.
This success lead to his own private practice, Zdilla Family Chiropractic (ZFC). ZFC is located in Rostraver Township, PA and specializes in the entire chiropractic wellness spectrum.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Zdilla, an Associate Professor of Biology at the Community College of Allegheny County, currently teaches college students anatomy and physiology, human biology, and nutrition and enjoys having a hand in shaping our future healthcare professionals.
Dr. Zdilla is a highly sought after health professional. He has been called upon by many entertainers and celebrities to provide chiropractic care. Dr. Zdilla is a doctor of the stars, but every one of his patients is a star to him!
He is also a proud Eagle Scout. This honor further validates his level of discipline and humility.
He feels very fortunate to have been successful in both his personal and professional life. He and his wife, Amy, live in Pittsburgh, PA and are surrounded by family and friends. Dr. Zdilla is proud of his brother, Dr. Matthew Zdilla, who is a fellow licensed chiropractor in Wheeling, WV and professor at West Liberty University. Both doctors share the passion for educating not only their students, but their patients as well.
Dr. Zdilla’s primary focus is to provide his patients with the highest possible quality care. At his practice, he treats patients of all ages on an individual basis and tailors the treatments to fit the needs of the individual. He has a genuine interest in the well-being of each and every one of his patients and is passionate about his work.
The Office Manager
Amy Zdilla owns and manages Zdilla Family Chiropractic. Amy's background includes graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003 with a dual degree in Software and Management Information Systems. After graduating she worked in aviation for 10 years where she managed the pilot training and compliance department, managed multiple software programs and also oversaw the entire aviation insurance department.
She joined Zdilla Family Chiropractic full-time in 2013 and manages the day-to-day operations of the office. She and her husband wanted to expand the office in 2015 and opened their new, larger office early that year. Amy enjoys expanding and growing the office and feels it is important to spread the word about natural healing and "healthier options".
Amy says, "We treat our patients like family and genuinely take an interest in their health. Our office is designed to feel calming and relaxing. We want our patients to enjoy the office environment and we strive to make them feel better and leave with a smile."
She enjoys exercising, yoga, hot yoga, reading about food and the benefits of certain foods and then testing out new healthy recipes, home improvement projects, taking walks and family and friends. Amy believes that "Simple Pleasures are Life's Treasures".
